Almost equidistant between Florence and Siena, Montefiori stands amid five acres of vineyards and olive groves, its gardens encompassing a bocce (petanque) ground, astroturf tennis court, and the swimming pool, backed by a bank of herbs and overlooked by a tree-shaded sitting area. Beside the house, a covered terrace is furnished for al fresco dining, looking out to tranquil views and leading into the effortlessly elegant sitting room, enchanting country style dining room, and ancient vaulted billiard room. Rich fabrics, four-posters and canopied headboards feature in the six first floor bedrooms, the master suite complete with dressing room and balcony. And the house is a stroll away from a noted local restaurant La Cantinetta di Rignana 8km from shops.   

Guests can enjoy superb local cooking and finest wines at the restaurants in Greve just 8km away and there are further excellent restaurants at Panzano and other informal restaurants nestling in the countryside. The speciality food shops both here and in other local villages have a superb selection of these fine wines and other local specialities. The villa is within easy reach of some of the best wine producing estates in Chianti and guests can enjoy tastings at local wineries.  The house is  33km from the sights of glorious Siena.
