Built in 1790 as a hunting lodge, this secluded and historic villa has been featured in numerous magazines such as Elle Décor due to its unusual architecture.
The main house and the former stable buildings of this villa have been carefully restored and are a sight to behold. With bounds of indoor and outdoor space, this villa is ideal for a large group or family get-together.
On the ground floor of the villa, through the entrance where David Tremletts contemporary art is showcased, guests are welcomed by the dining area and staircase that leads to a mezzanine workspace area. Further on there is a kitchen with traditional and rustic style interiors, and a large living area with comfortable furnishings, an open fireplace and french doors that lead to the courtyard. Two double king sized bedrooms are also situated on this floor; with shower room en suites and direct access to the outdoor area.
To the side of the main building, the stables hold all the remaining bedrooms. The former stables (have 4 twin bedrooms (which can be made up as doubles upon request), a more compact twin bedroom (best to be used as a double) facing the pool and 1 double opening to the parking area, all with shower rooms en suite.
Outside guests can make use of the large private pool and all of the manicured gardens that surround it. Also situated in the grounds, is a shaded lounge area and al fresco dining space complete with built in barbecue and preparation area. Just a ten minute drive away, amenities such as shops, supermarkets, restaurants and tennis courts are on hand in Tricase, alongside a sandy beach.
