Classic antiques and arty contemporary furniture combine with a hint of Belle Epoque elegance. A rather grand colonnaded loggia opens on to a magnificent paved pool terrace, contrasting with the rocky hillside garden, naturally carpeted in lavender, oregano, thyme and the occasional cypress tree. And while a curtained dining pergola adorns one terrace, another enjoys the shade of silvered olive trees. At almost every turn there is something to catch the eye, but it is the magnificent view across the infinity pool that holds the gaze, out across a sun-shimmered sea to beckoning islands and outcrops. A smaller cottage shares the estate, some forty metres from the house, which is stylish, modern and entirely separate.
